    Driver Licence Information / Profile Photo::

      Avoid selecting locations too far from your base of operations as this will result in more potential customers calling you for a journey that are unsuitable for you to accommodate.

        General

        Cabdriversdirect.com reserves the right to modify these terms of use at its discretion and at any time.

        BETA Testing

        Cabdriversdirect.com is presently in a BETA testing phase. Throughout this period:

        • Cabdriversdirect.com will exclusively approve drivers operating within our designated testing location/s.
        • Cabdriversdirect.com may implement changes to any or all parts of the site without prior notice.
        • User experience for both drivers and consumers is subject to change and may not consistently perform as expected.
        Driver Conduct

        Cabdriversdirect.com serves as an advertising platform exclusively designed for UK licensed hackney carriage and private hire drivers to secure work and network within the UK hackney carriage and private hire industry. Drivers shall not use the platform for any other purpose.

        Drivers using Cabdriversdirect.com WILL NOT:

        • Use the platform to procure work with the intention of passing it on to other drivers. However, Cabdriversdirect.com can be utilized to network with drivers to whom work may be passed that has been procured from outside the platform.
        • Act maliciously towards any other drivers on the platform or engage in any behaviour detrimental to the business of another driver who is a member of the platform or to the platform itself.
        • Allow any other person to use their Cabdriversdirect.com account.
        • Mislead anyone into thinking that Cabdriversdirect.com is taking bookings on behalf of them or that they are working on behalf of Cabdriversdirect.com.

        Drivers using Cabdriversdirect.com WILL:

        • Operate their business advertised on Cabdriversdirect.com in a professional manner.
        • Comply with the licensing policy of their licensing authority.
        • In the event of unforeseen circumstances resulting in the driver being unable to carry out a booking, recommend that the customer finds an alternative driver on the Cabdriversdirect.com platform or only pass a booking onto another driver/operator with the consent of the customer who made the booking.
        • Allow Cabdriversdirect.com the right to use any information and images uploaded to the site for advertising purposes.
        Payments

        During the BETA testing phase, Cabdriversdirect.com is pleased to inform drivers that the utilization of our platform may be free of charge. As we refine and enhance our services, no automated billing service will be in operation.

        Post BETA testing an automated 3rd party billing service may be utilized and drivers will be contacted via email and in some cases phone at least one month prior to the use of the service being required by them.

        Charges introduced to drivers will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

        Invoices, where applicable, will be sent manually via email with payment terms of 7 days from the date sent.

        It is important to note that the introduction of charges will be communicated transparently via email and in some cases by phone, and drivers will be notified in advance should any changes to the payment structure be implemented.

        Charges to drivers unless discounted will be set at £35.00 per week.

        In the event charges are incurred, failure to make payment may result in the suspension of the accounts visibility until payments are settled.

        Cancellation and account deletion

        Drivers cancel their membership with Cabdriversdirect.com and delete their account at any time. They can do this via the drivers account page menu by using the "Account Delete" Function.

        No refunds will be issued when accounts are deleted.

        Correspondence

        Drivers give Cabdriversdirect.com permission to contact them via the email address or phone number provided.

        Content for advertising

        Drivers give Cabdriversdirect.com permission to use profile photos, descriptions and other information publicly displayed on the site for the use of advertising and promotion of Cabdriversdirect.com and associated applications.

        Updates to terms and conditions

        When our terms and conditions are updated, existing drivers will be notified via email. Continued use of the Cabdriversdirect.com will be seen as agreement to any amendments in the terms and conditions.
